New here to the forum. I have a 2013 ford explorer limited and having an issue with the drivers side temp controls. When not on dual control, the drivers side temperature will automatically go from up to high. I can set it at 72 and eventually it will change itself to high. I can try and turn off the power button to all controls and it will turn itself back on and go back to high. I can adust the fan controls fine, i can adjust the passenger side fine, but not the drivers side. I did notice some of the buttons below the touch screen stopped working too. Anyone have this issue?

Welcome to the Forum.
Does it do the same when using A/C? Which touch controls do not work on the panel? Is climate one of them? Not sure if it could be an issue with the HVAC control module.

Well currently the A/C isnt blowing cold air. just checked the bottom panel buttons and all are currently responding with exception of the A/C button. the A/C button only works on the touch screen. When the driver's side doing the weird thing with the temperature control moving on its own, then majority of the bottom panel buttons stop responding.

You don't happen to have any power cables (like from a radar detector or dashcam) laying across the panel, do you?
I think a member here had an issue and turned out to be due to the cable.

I do not. Im thinking about taking apart and checking and cleaning all the connections. I asked the dealer about it and he said likely need to replace both the FCIM and the APIM, cost would be $1769 !!
