Hi all,

I have a 2014 Explorer and I’m getting a clicking noise from the dash. After getting behind the glove box I found that the noise is coming from this box behind the dash. It sounds like gears getting stripped.

Any information as too what this is? How hard is it to replace?

That is the AC recirculate motor I believe. Check for dtc B1083

It could also be a blend door actuator...does the clicking happen when you change modes or change the temperature?
