2016 Limited 2nd row passenger heated seat not working

Having the same problem with my 2016 Ford Explorer Limited. The middle-row driver's side heated seat works fine, but the middle-row passenger heated seat just illuminates when pressing the button, and then immediately turns off.

Has anyone found a fix for this without taking to a dealership? My 2016 is FAR beyond warranty.

Welcome to the Forum Marcus.
It could be a wiring issue with the circuit turning OFF to protect itself. Only a guess though. Have you checked all the wiring connections and connectors?

check for Power and ground at the seat for the heating element. If the circuit is good at that point, then it is the heating element/pad in the seat. That is the most command problem. There are You Tube vids on how to replace a heated seat element.

You going to need hog-rings and a hog-ring install tool (its like plyers)
