The rear blower motor is located behind the interior trim panel in the cargo area on the passenger side.

Is it in that location on all models? I had subwoofers located in that location of previous Explorers and I'm sure I saw vents near floor level on the driver's side, rear.

All of the rear HVAC equipment is behind the far rear panel on the driver side in the trunk. This video is for a flex but they should be nearly identical:

I thought it was on the driver's side in the rear. The passenger side usually contains the subwoofer equipment.
