I was told it took 18 hours from start to finish to build an Explorer. That's to build it, now if they find something wrong in quality inspection and testing after that, well then.......Bartender, leave the bottle....and maybe the case......and just to be safe, have your supplier on speed dial, ok? Drinks on the house..... I'm buying..... Just found out my X was built yesterday, not Monday the 25th..... It is now sitting in the railyard waiting to be put on a train.... Should be here next Friday....... I'm like a kid at Christmas..... Sudbury 78 I'll send you a picture........ Oh and it did show up in ETIS finally...... But not COTUS.....

My dealer told me i am on schedule. Gee thanks. It started to be built yesterday. I wonder how many days it takes for a completed vehicle?

I also heard 18 hours to build, then testing then sitting on various ramps for loading over a few days. My 2017 Sport went into build 7/19 finished 7/20, then on various ramps (ramp 79 the other day), then finally shipped 7/26 or 7/27 for Massachusetts. ETA window is 8/5 - 8/11

I entered my VIN into ETIS and it showed my vehicle which was supposed to be built Wednesday. Doesnt really tell me much. Shows a build date of 30.11.0002 which i assume is an internal code of sorts.

I was told ETIS will show the code 30.11.0002 until the build is complete.

How much information did ETIS show for you? Mine shows it was also built yesterday in Chicago but doesn't show much more than it is an Explorer with a V-6 and automatic transmission.

Etis really only shows the build date....... And what you described....

Dealer solved my expiring $1,000 incentive issue. Even though the car won't be in until 8/4, after the incentive expires, we're going to get everything paperwork-wise wrapped up on the final day of the incentive which is Monday, 8/1.

I'll get the $250 bonus cash, $1,000 loyalty bonus, and the financing as well. Is it next Thursday yet?

What happens if the incentives are better in August?
Incentives tend to get better, not worse..

My dealer locked in all the incentives so far... Totaling 2500. Got a new one that ended today which was free oil changes for a year.... I thought that was a dealer bonus but it came from ford..... I take delivery hopefully Friday, but the dealer said if anything comes before the car is transferred to me I'll will get that also....

Dealer order confirmation is supposedly correct. Ford built a different spec., minus the ACC and polished wheels.

First time I have ever heard of this happening.
Someone eff'ed up..

I made them an offer which I believe is fair. Maybe they think it isn't. I don't know, but it isn't up for negotiation.
And if we agree, I will be more than satisfied.

I'll give up hope when I see it in OASIS. @Tuscany's VIN doesn't even have a built date yet assigned. It could be lagging a bit and be sitting in a lot already, but this is truly a bizarre occurrence if it were a misbuild.

I'm guessing it was either too late to change the order or the information didn't get passed along.
