2017 Radio Display no longer workomg

It started with the displaying showing lines then fuzzy white noise and now just basically blank screen with random flashing. Ford said a couple modules needed to be replaced - est $900. Anyone deal with this before and find it reasonable DIY fix?

It is possible that the APIM is going bad. Is all info on the screen that way regardless of which screen you select (Nav. Climate etc.)?

Nothing is visible anymore, basically black screen. Basically use the radio and media player through memory of the presets. No one will be able to connect a phone until I fix it. So yes regardless of mode the screen is useless
