2018 PIU ANDROID UPGRADE

I have found some pretty useful things on this site but nothing directly related to my issue. I am under the impression that the PIU did not come with sync functions or sync installed. I ordered a custom android unit to upgrade my screen and stereo system and I am unable to get correct sound out of the unit. It seems as if the base is really too high and muffled and the speakers just don’t sound right. I am getting sound, but not any kind of sound that makes sense.. I don’t know exactly what I need to do. I also did upgrade my door speakers, but I did not run new wiring, I think I probably should run new wiring to the door speakers due to this weird issue. I just want basically the android auto to work or CarPlay to work with maps and also for using Spotify and music I could care less about the radio working. I just need it to connect to my phone and run android auto or CarPlay. Does anybody have any suggestions.

I suggest a LOT more details, like the brand & model of the radio, a link to its install instructions, pics of its connectors & how those are spliced to the vehicle wiring, all the vehicle details including its original radio type...
