Just curious if anyone added a light sensor in order to have the auto lamp feature? I got the headlight switch and the lights come on when the car is on and go off when the car is off, but I need the sensor so the lights don’t come in until it’s dark. Is this a dashboard sensor or rear view mirror piece? Curious how hard the install is.

I believe you will also require the light control switch with 'Auto' setting.
The sensor is dashboard mounted.
I don't know if any existing modules are part of the system or not.

I’ve got the actual headlight switch. The sensor is what I needed. Do you know if the wiring would present for the sensor? When I added the hood switch for the remote start I wanted to add, the wiring was there, ready to plug in. I don’t want to get a sensor, disassemble everything and then find there isn’t any wiring there.

Sorry, I have no idea if the wiring is already there. I did find this thread but it may not apply to your PIU. I think you're the first to do it.

Anyone attempt this? Just wondering if wiring is there or if it’s just too big of a job
