2020 brake service

2020 XLT has 85,000 mile. Dealer indicates 3 mm up front and 4 mm rear remaining. Car does not squeek or make any noise. Dealer wants to replace all 4 rotors. Can the rotors be resurfaced instead. Pedal does not pulse.

They can be resurfaced if they do not have excessive wear. You may want to check with a good independent shop that does brake work.

All depends on the condition of the rotors.

I wouldn't go to a dealer for routine maintenance like brakes. Brake pads can be replaced by any shop, it's a simple job. Rotors that don't have any pulse or shudder, or are otherwise undamaged, don't even need to be resurfaced. They can be scuffed with a scotchbrite pad or emery cloth.
