21 Explorer Platinum Fog Lights

I might be missing some thing but the 2021 Explorer Platinum comes with functional Fog Lamps and the owners manual describes it's operation but the light panel on the lower left dash does NOT have the switch that the owners manual depicts! Any help out there?

The switch is the center button on the rotary headlight switch.

This. The headlamp knob itself has a button in the middle of it. Press that and the setting will "remember" until you change your headlamp mode again.

It is possible that your vehicle does not have the actual lights in place, only dummy units. Due to the chip shortage that was occurring there were Explorers sold without the actual fog light led panels installed. Something similar happened with the Rangers, except in the Rangers case they left off the LED headlamps on some Lariat models due to the chip shortage and placed the crappy halogens in place instead.

FYI, they have done away with fog lights altogether on the 2025 Aviator. I see this happening on some other brands as well.
