Well the 'ol beast just turned 220,000 miles and its's still going strong. Here is a list of what I've done to it.
-Oil and filter change at 5,000 mile intervals (DuraBlend oil and Motorcraft filter).
-K&N air filter with holes drilled in the air box (dumb idea).
-Third set of plugs (Bosch Platinum).
-Original plug wires.
-Transmission fluid and filter changed at 100,000 mile intervals.
-Fuel filter changed at 100,000 mile intervals.
-Original battery.
-Original 02 sensors (yea, the check engine light is on).
-Lower ball joints replaced.
-Original exhaust.
-Brake pads replaced when necessary.
-Original rotors (Never been turned).
-Third set of tires.
Sure it's starting to show it's miles, it creaks and groans, gets decent gas milage (16-18), it idles a little rough and it has a few dings and scratches, but it starts every time and gets me where I want to go.
