Okay, here's what I'm thinking. My '99 eb that I bought used came with those skimpy 235/75/16 Goodyear Forteras. Door sticker calls for 255/70/16's. I am considering going with a 245/75/16 for the added height, 30.5in vs 30.1 for a 255/70. Circumference is 95.7 vs 94.4 for the 255/70. Not looking for a larger footprint, just added height for looks, economy. I have 410 gears.
The plan is to do a TT and Monroe load levelers and possibly Warrior 153 shackles. Will these tires on stock rims clear ok or will spacers be needed?
I can get a set of 245/75/16 Definity Dakota A/T's for $470 all included.

You should be fine running those, I'm running 265/75R16s at stock hieght and I'm really glad I went that size.

My '01 XLT has LT245/75R16 10 ply on factory chrome '95 sport wheels. The only issue I have is backing up with a hard turn...it barely touches the plastic trim. A couple turns on the torsion bars would cure it, but I'm lazy.

I did Tt and shackle for 2" and currently running 265/75r 16 with no problem I have even test fitted 285/75r 16 and saw no problem there.

All on factory wheels

I just re-read the original post and I should add that I too have the Monroe load levelers.
