Has anyone installed a tire this size? The stock is 235/65/18 and I'm planing to lift the truck (2007 Sportrac V8). Will I have problems turning corners?
Thanks.

I am running 265/60-18 no problems but yours are wider and taller. But I think you should be still ok.

Thx. Do you think I might need wheel spacers? The problem is if I buy them I can't return them.

Spacers would put them more out and risk rubbing the fender I believe. I would calculate how many inches/milimiters the bigger tire is taller and wider and turn your wheels all the way one direction and measure the clearance around it. Then also, you want to jack up the car by placing a jack and piece of wood between under the tire so you would simulate a situation where you hit a pathole and the wheel bounced into the wheel opening and measure again.
Right away, i can tell you that your tire will be 20 mm wider both directions, 40 mm total. It will also be taller by 2 x 40 mm (80 mm total dia increase) so I am starting to think that you may have issues. but search here, there is a discussion about oversize tires and some members posted what they are running.

Tires

I just replaced the stock tires with 265/60R18 Michelin LTX II. I had already replaced the stock wheels with American Racing 8" wide wheels. The new tires cleared the wheel well covers with about 1/2" to spare. You might get some rubbing going on with a sharp turn.
