Help, does anyone know where I can get this part? It is discontinued and breaks when you try to take it out at the junkyard. It is called an adapter. It is the neck where you pour oil into the engine. Thanks so much!

I looked around and can't find it either. Will the oil fill cap fit directly on the valve cover hole it mounts on, and you can just do without it, or is access then a big problem? ... I mean to get the cap on and off, and just use a long neck funnel for adding oil.

Thanks for trying to help. I'll look into what you proposed... And go back to the junkyard again 😳

I'm having the same problem and was wondering if you came up with a solution.

I just found a used one on ebay, but it's $57 delivered, kind of a steep price for what it is.

I tried to order it. It's not available

Strange, it lets me put it in my cart and get to the Confirm & Pay page, which I assume is the last chance to abort buying it.

It didn't even let me put it in my cart earlier, but it let me order it now. Odd

I think it has been replaced as a whole unit attached to the valve cover. This is what I think is the new part. I think I'm going to go this route. I have looked for the other part for probably over a year now. Our explorer didn't pass smog inspection last time due to a air to gas ratio problem. It says it fits my explorer - but could be wrong. One last try to save it.
Here's the part:
