2nd gen and 3rd gen stock rims

I was wondering if the stock rims off of a 02-05 explorer would fit on a 98 explorer?
 






The bolt patern will be the same, but the 2002 up use a positive offset. The problem you may run into is the tire rubbing on the sway bar.
 






can this be solved by spacers or is it way off?
