What is the biggest curved or straight light bar that will fit on the roof? I'm wanting to do like a 48" or 50" but not sure on fitment. I have a 2000 explorer

I installed 4 4" pods on my roof rack. 2 facing the sides and 2 to the rear for now. Once I figure out how to upload photos I will do so.

I shuffled the cars around to get the Exploder in the garage, and installed the wiring harness today. I put the switches for it at the top edge of the center console, just below the HVAC controls.

You can just see them here, at the top of this (unrelated) pic:

I got my Auxbeam X Series wired up yesterday, so, here are some pics:

I did this... might have looked like utter crap, but, I lived in the sticks at the time, so it worked really well.

Then some douchecanoe stole it

Was 54" curved. Got it off eBay.
Made the hood impossible to keep open.
Made horrendous wind noise

Worked perfectly for about 6 months.

Then it got stolen.

Damn... theres alot of cons to that placement but looks cool lol

Lit the road up and both ditches for miles.

No worries about hitting wildlife.

If the oncoming traffic don't dim after I'd asked them to then that was their final warning

$60 on Ebay. Plenty bright for what I need & been water tight for a year.

Looks nice, just don't use it on when driving on the road. They blind fellow drivers..

Here's mine. 1997 sport 4x4. Sitting stock (for now...) I'll do a forum page on it one of these days. I got the light bar for free from a friend of mine when he upgraded his (I already had the wires to hook it up), I got the grille guard at a local junkyard for $30, and I got the cb antenna for $1 at a garage sale... Not too bad if you ask me.
