3.27 gear ratio

and it made you MPG go down a lot?
how many mpg are you getting now?
i didnt think 3.27 to 3.73 would be that much of a difference.

If you know how to drive it you will not hurt your clutch:D

Brad, are both of your 92 explorers 5 speed with 3.27?

my 92 XLT has the 5 speed and 3.27s:)

I would never discredit a person`s driving skills!

Just put those 33s on and come back and tell us how it is to get moving from a dead stop facing up a steep hill. I guarantee you will have to get those rpms up to get going. This equals more time in the friction zone of the clutch, which equals more wear and tear!

Both of my ex have 3.27 ratio the big truck is 5 speed with 33's and the sport is an automatic with 31's.Yeah i might have to hold the clutch a little on hills but I bet your 4.10 gears do not get 23 miles to the gallon on the highway:D That is why i have a centerforce:D I can turn those big ass tires over with the wimpy 3.27's:D

:D
So we agree too disagree then.
I would give up mileage for torque anyday. I want immediate takeoff when I let out that clutch baby! I want those tires to dig in and launch me. I wanna move, no matter how much gas I burn.
;)

So what is a centerforce??? Flywheel or something? Explain please.:D

You never heard of centerforce dual friction clutch:D

I think I have, but I know there is some options out there. So you like it do ya?
How much, and did ya do it yerself?

The guy i bought it from had it done they have about 75% percent more grabbing power over stock I think he paid over 900 to have it done including clutch,I also had one in my stang they are awesome:D
