gear ratio

Can someone tell me were the codes are on the axles. so i can find out what gear ratio i have in my 97 X 4x4 xlt control trac

EDIT: Not sure whether you were asking where to find the codes on the truck, or were to find the codes to know what ratio you have. If it's the first, then look on the driver's door jamb.
