okay, i'm in the middle of putting on the PA 3" body lift and i've encountered some problems. They say to remove everything that is connected to the firewall and i'm not quite sure about that. And does the steering extension go where the boot is covering up the steering shafts? Also what problems did y'all encounter, i have a very paranoid dad that thinks whatever can go wrong will go wrong. Thanks...

Is it an auto tranny????

I don't remember takin anything off the firewall when I did mine.

About the steering extension......go look under the hood......you see the boot over the steering shaft?.........look right above that........you see a bolt going through the shaft........take it out and pull the shaft apart...........now stick your extension in there and reassemble.......oops.....don't forget lock tight(or something like that.)

I think thats how it is. Its been a very long time since I did mine.

Check out the tips section in the links above. There is a good write-up on the 3" body lift. I just did my 2" body lift and those were the instructions that I used. All that I had to disconnect from the firewall was brakelines below the brakefluid reservoir.

i got it solved, thanks. I like the installation time though... it says 8 hours... that's if everything goes perfect. We have no air tools and we ended up breaking the two front bolts by the radiator, because they were rusted, and we had to drill them out. It only took about three hours to drill them out.
