31 12.5's !!!!!

I just saw an add for 31x12.5 so i went to bfg's sight, they don't make them........They make 325/60/15 thats 30.4 inches of diameter and 12.9 inches of tread on a 10 inch tire. sounds sweet, my question is, will they fit on a stock '91 xlt? or perhaps a 2" suspension lift. My goal is to get a mean but low profile on my explorer. I know the diameter will fit with my ground effects, and front airdam, but can I turn? Any idea's?

bfg does make a 31x12.5, in both at and mud. u just have to find the right add. dunno if this helped any but peace

is the size we are looking for a 31x12.5 (like shibby says) or a 30x12.5 (like ru man says)?

like my original post say's "31x12.5" if you ask sears or VIP, they'll say they don't exist, but if they know anything about tire's (which they usually don't) 325/60/15R is the metric size for 31x12.5 or close to it. i've found the tires but i need to know if they'll fit. from what i can tell they do, until i try to turn. then my fender will dig in hard.

12.50's will rub on a stocker - probably even with 2" of lift. I run 10.50's and wouldn't be comfortab;e with a wider tire unless I had more lift. But then again, if you don't go off road you may not have the same concerns...

I have a 91 4-dour 4x4 and 31x10.50 would not fit. i could have trimed to fit, but then a would be out of luck when wheelin. I KNOW the max size for a stock(91-94) is the 31x10.50 without cutting all kinds of stuff out. lata

have you acutally ever seen a 31x12.50? i wouldn't recommend them. you'll be compared to a less illustrious "ghetto" vehicle. they honestly do loo ridiculas. the only vehicle i have seen then appear half way decent on is a jeep but it was still to LOW to go so WIDE. just be normal and go w/a 10.5. much more conservative and won't get any weird notes on your windshield or finger pointings from people li e myself.
