I know the Pro Comp Mud Terrains are pre-drilled for studs. They don't come with the studs, but if you live where they are ecessary, any tire shop should have them available to install for you.
Stupid question:
Why do you need tire studs? Are these gonna be tires that you're ONLY gonna run in the snow? Cause studded tires without snow are bad! Most decent all terrian tires are good in snow nowadays, most drivers will never need studs.
Be careful of buying MT tires for snow use. Many MTs have a hard rubber compound so they are tough, but this compound gets even harder in cold weather, probably enough to offset the studding.
BTW, Alec, I pretty much agree with what you say, but the stopping traction between studded and non-studded tires on ice is like night and day. Up here in New England many people swear by studded tires.... Me, this is my first winter with my BFG ATs and they are awesome in the snow from what I've seen.
