Hi all, I had BFG AT K/Os in 31x10.5 put on my stock 94 XLT this morning.

The ride is awesome, they look great, and absolutely no rubbing. Not even at full turn!

Awesome. Thanks to the info on this site I pressed the tire shop to try the 31s and it worked out...

COOL!

cool. good deal. glad it worked out.

I kind of wanted 31s but didn't want to take the chance on them rubbing. I know I could have shackled it and TT, but I didn't really want to. I guess 30s will work for me. I bet yours will rub though at full compression if you are off road or something. If it is just a street truck than thats awesome.

Yeah - If I bounce around i'm sure it will rub. I might trim a little of the inside fender where it could in that case, but I don't off road much.

I needed the more aggressive tread for driving on the beach. But I don't go out in the dunes, just more like a sandy road.

shweet, sounds good man good luck! I got some 31's in the basement, i've had um on and they rub alittle when the suspension moves. in the spring i'll do tt/shackles.

Rock on:chug:

oh yeah...any pics?

Pics? Im thinkin about throwin some 31s on and possibly a small lift, to enhance the "stance" lol. Id like to see how yours turned out w/o the lift.

Yeah, lets see some pics.

I'll get some pics while i'm out at the dunes this weekend, should have them online by sunday night or monday morning

:D

I'll be going here:

But I won't be doing that :D

I'll just get some picts out on the beach. I'll go back a little ways, but for real dunin' I have a quad. This trip is really just to see how wall the X holds up getting to our regular camp site. This will be the first trip there for 'er, we're usually in my buddies F-150 pulling a 20+ foot car trailer loaded with quads.

But since his quad is DOA at the moment, I need to make sure I can get out there on my own.

Ps. I plan to add a 4" or 6" lift in a couple of months, if I have the funds, that will look sweet. I really like the look of the wider tires, now it needs more clearance.

I run the dueler AT's 31x10.5 At stock height they do rub but You only notice if you look under the truck after a while. TIP look at the sway bar.

Nice.

nice looking truck, but you should lift it IMO

I have 31s on my 96 with no lift and yeah, on the rare occasion I go full compression, I get a rub but otherwise it's a non-issue.
Lifts are scary things... if I get one, I'll crave larger tires I'm sure. :p (and the wife will want tubes on the side to step into the vehicle at that point)
I may go 2-3" in the spring... we'll see.

Would add a leaf help or do I really need to do a sus/bod lift?

I love the 31s as well... def a good mod.
