31x1050 on 15x10 rim!

is it bad to put a 31x1050 on a 15x10 rim i heard u could damge ur rims by this> any help would greatly be appreciated,,,,,,,thanks,alex

Well, yah, you could damage the rim.... WHen the bead breaks loose, and tire goes flat and ya drive on the rim. You can use stock rims or a 15x8. A 15x10 would just look... uh wrong...

Actually they'll fit just fine... One problem you make come accross is that its easier to scratch the lip on a curb because the tire dosen't bubble out like it should on there... Plus the tires may look a little funny... But it can go on there and hold air just fine... Lots of people do it... You may want to look into going with an 11.50 though if you can...

or a 12.5...... actually it will fit but you will lose a bead whenever you go bellow 25 psi....
