I have searched for almost two hours but have not found an answer.

Is it possible to put 31x10x15's on 15x10 wheels?
I thought about 31x11.5x15 or 31x12.5x15 but after seeing that I need 3-4" of lift I don't have the funds to do this

My Mountaineer is daily driven and sees little off road.
I got a good deal on some used 15x10's. I would not have bought them if I had known there would be such a problem with rubbing issues.

I would really hate to have to sell them but will if it is best. :(

I am willing to do a TT & Shackle if need be.

15x8s are the best for our vehicles. You can make the 15x10s work, and the 31x10.50s will work - but I think you'll be stretching the tire a bit

most ppl on here dont like 15x10s, they will tell you to go 15x8s. i peronally have 15x10s, and i will never own anything narrower on my ex. My opinion is that the look of the wide rims/tires really sets out that aggressive stance. I currently run 15x10 extreme alloy 1069s with ss ltb 33x13.5x15s. Eventually to be replaced by some 33x15.5x15s. I would go 11.5, that extra cushion is nice. the 31s should fit with a tt and some trimming, no way around the trimming. Take the front plastic valence off and those steps might have to go too (not sure).

Good luck man

and as a side thought, a body lift is like 150 bucks. even if you are a dd that is a nice touch. Easy to do yourself if you are mechanically inclined.

bfg sead 7-9" rim width, the Sect. Width is a true 10.5 , so they will fit , and look OK , but ther will be no sidewall bulge...
