32x11.50's on 16x7's or no?

can you put 11.5's on 7 inch wide rims or not?

i'm trying to save a few bucks by keeping stocks rims for now, but is it possible?

Usually a 11.5 inch wide tire is approved by the tire manufacturer for a 7 inch wide wheel.

hey toddious...do you need any lift to avoid rubbing with the 11.5s?

i am going to have TT, AAL, and 3" body lift

so it is basically true then for the most part?

are you asking about 31x11.50 or 32x11.50?

and in either case, do either of those size tires come in 16" rims or are you looking for 32x11.50x15 which is roughly equal to 265/75/16?

and there are quite a few guys on here with the 265/75/16 on stock rims that i think were able to fit them without the body lift at all- maybe slight rubbing so a little bit of trimming needed.

265/75/16 = 31.7x10.8 or something like that right?

Yeah ~ and a 32" tire is rarely 32" tall. Thats just the nominal size for all intents and purposes a 265 is a 32.00x11.00 R 16

And I'm one of those guys running a 265 with a TT, shackles + aal, and a 2" BL. The BL was probably not entirely necissary (a little of trimming and I could've gone without it), but I like the extra height and I never have to worry about rubbing (except on the sway bar) and I didn't want to trim anything anway

yea, like my duelers are really 31.6x11.9 as measured on a 9" wide rim. you have to look for those calculations.

i meant to say 32x11.5 . i have the stock "limited" wheels. you said that 32x11.5x15 is roughly 265/75/16. does that mean they will fit on a 16" rim? about the body lift, i am doing that more for looks, and to prepare for the future!;)

Mine were 15.

Don't measure them. Look on the tire. It should say P235/75RXX The number might be different. But where the Xs are, it should either say 15 or 16. That is your rim diameter.

I'm running 33x12.50's on my stock tear drop rims which are 15 x 7's and it seems to work fine....but this is temporary (3 months). =)
