Can anyone help me out with tire fitment questions. I have searched throughout and cannot find a much info on whether a 32x11.50x15 on a 15x8 wheel will clear with just the TT and Warrior shackle kit. I really don't want to do a B/L. I already have the tires off of another truck but don't want to buy the wheels until I have a little more info. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

you migh trub a little on the inside edge of the front fender well. on teh tupperwear. i had to trim it a bit. instead of it curving in i have it going straight donw. ill take a few pics soon. once i got hte 2"bl i have had no problems even racing in sand dunes and whatnot. i rubbed with my 31s on top of the fenderwell when playing hard.

i ran 32s with only tt and shackles with only the most minor rubbing on back of front fenderwell. i trimmed just the inside edge of tupper wear off. i now have the 2" body as well as the tt and no rubbing. i think i could run 33's if i took tupperwear all the way off.

LOL... yeah, by him up there ! ! ! : D

funny that you caught that. thanks for posting it.

That's what happens when you sit at work and do nothing all day.... :D

Explorer4u2c,
have you checked out Dead Link Removed? we have a couple of street guys represented and we have a message board as well.

im about 2 hours from jax.

buchvilleman, My truck will see 95% of its time on road with nothing serious off, you know still making high @$$ payments but want to stand out from all the soccer moms and grocery getters. Have you had much rubbing on road other than the running board corner? Preciate the help.

not bad at all, i have mine on stock wheels though. i think with a bigger wheel it would rub more as the tire will be wider. i say go for it! before i got the bl the only time i rubbed was at full turn and go over bumps. on the street and around town it did not rub.

Are we taking into account that the EB's have large fender flares?

Sweet. It sucks I'm getting rid of my X, I will still stay on here and chat. I've got a couple project cars that I'm working on and trying to get out of pymnts.

Does any else out there have 32's on there EB I am new to the X suspension and would appreciate several opinions on whether this is possible. By the way I have the LS 4.10 gear, from my experience with other vehicles that should be plenty of gear for the 32s. Right?

i think the suspension topics have been discussed fairly thouroughly. superlift now makes a lift that will fit the sophmore model exs and you could definitely fit 32s with that. if not go with the torsion twist lift in the front and either add a leafs or extended shackles in the rear and also the body lift. good luck:)

I think it will rub.

I have 33/10.50s. On my stock 7" rims there was plenty of room. After I put on 8.5" rims I have a good bit of rubbing. I did a small amount of trimming, but will have to do some more. Even though the 32s are slightly smaller in diameter, the rim width may be enough to make them rub. Mine have 4" backspacing and I have a 3" body lift and the TT. I'm sure someone has the same setup you want and everything worked out fine, but if your luck is like mine then you never know what to expect!
As for gear ratios the 4.10s would be good. I have 4.56s and for street driving they are too much. At 70mph I'm around 3000RPMs.

You will have to do some trimming with 32's, and you will still have some rubbing. I have 31's with a TT and shackle and I still rub on and off road. Also, the 99+ bumpers have to be trimmed. GJarrett and I both had to trim our front bumpers just to turn the wheels. The problem isn't height, it is the width of the fender, add to the equation your fender flares. I am about 95% positive you will have to do a BL to fit 32's. Ask GJarrett, or at least read his thread about his rig, he spells it out pretty good, that where I got most of my info.
