I'm new the forum so I am not sure if I am posting in the right section. I have a basically stock 98 Explorer Sport with KYB Gas a Just shocks all around. I want to lift it enough to fit 32 maybe 33 inch tires on it. Can I torque up the torsion bars and add a lift blocks in there rear?

You can crank the torsion bars, but if you are 4WD I wouldn't go more than 2in. if you want your CV axles to last. You can't put a block in the rear cause we are spring under, a block will lower the rear. What you can do is purchase shackles or an add-a-leaf. The TT and shackles will probably only give you around 2-2.5 inches of lift so if you want 33's you should go with a 2 or 3 inch body lift also.

If you are gonna crank the torsion bars do not crank them up more than 2 inches. It will put your cv joints at a funky angle and they will break more often. Simplest way i see is a 3in BL thats how i am gonna fit 33's on my 99 sport and enxtended shackles. U will probably have to do some inner fender trimming on the front.

for your sport you could probably just put on 32s with out much rubbing
