i did search but not understanding exactly what i need to do. I want to put 33's on my truck and raise it up 4 inches(maybe less) and not sure how i would go about doing that. Am i able to use my stock rims and put 33's on them or am i going to need to buy new rims. Will i need shackles(not even sure what they are). I always have driven a car never new much about 4x4's. I'm also used to lowering vehicles not raising them up. Here's a photo of my EX with the stock rims i have. Any help is much appreciated.

thanks guys, so how much would it cost me to do all this? do i need to raise it 4 inches?

if you do what 99ex22 has outlined right then right under 300.00 and a possible of 5.5 in of lift.

you may or may not would want to re-use your existing rims.

what you need to look at is what tire width are you looking for?
If you're looking at getting a 33x12.50, I would go with no less than 8" wide rim.
Stock rims are 15x7/16x7 iirc. You *could* re-use your rims, but then you would end up with horribly uneven/excessive tire wear.
