I hear that. Glad to know I am not the only one fixing body damage this spring. not that I wish it on others of you.

What kind of body damage are we talking about?

One more Q GJarrett, have you had any problems yet with the 35's? are the 4.10's decent for now?

Body damage was from a bad wheeling trip last month. I pulled a Jeep out that had broken its axle and we were on wet/snowy ground on very old Jeep trails, the knid that over the years had eroded out into canyon-type trails with walls on both sides up to the top of the vehicles. By the time I finished pulling and sliding sideways and got off the mountain, every body panel on my left side got creamed, both taillight guards ripped out and left taillight broken, liftgate dented, etc. :(

Now that I am on 35's even the 4.10 is too high. I don't know what to do though. I can't see paying the megabucks to regear only to step up to 4.56, but the local "Expert" here said 4.88+ pinions are kind of small and weak - especially for a vehicle as heavy as mine. I'm seriously considering going to 4.88.

Cool, thanks for the info, i'm going up to 35's next month, i think i already have a plan for trimming the fronts, i don't know about the rears yet though.

Man Gerald, that sucks buddy!! You have any pictures of the mess you were in?

I really enjoy wheeling, and don't do it as much as i'd like, but i really really don't want to be in that kind of a mess where it does more damage then good. Is this guy you pulled out going to help with any of the repairs?
