Sweet looking Ex!

I actually heard the opposite that solid axles are lighter because the set-up is simpler.

That's actually a pretty good point because the baggage involved with independent is lengthy. I really wonder about that now.

(BTW forgot to mention - manufacturers also like independent because it's smoother for normal vehicle operation (i.e. occupant comfort))

Clean lookin ex kyle. plans for mods?

heres some of my truck finally up on the site

i have no clue what the back spacing is but i know it sticks out atleast 3 in more than the stocks. and they rub a little but only on the plastic in the back of the wheel housing but you can just pull that back and tie it off or something. im working on doing that. but here are some pics of them sticking out

lookin good brother! i wish you could get some measurements for me :( i love that look!

also do you still have that tpms (tire pressure monitering system) crap in those wheels?

i dont think my truck has ever had that tire pressure thing

I dont think XLS trim levels ever got TPMS. I think some or all XLTs did and of course the higher models did. Be glad you dont have it, nothing but problems. I have a broken one cause of the tire shop

I have an XLT without the TPMS. I'm glad too. My sister had it on her Windstar and it was nothing but trouble.

Nate, I'm enjoying your build progress!

Im just thinking about getting rid of my TPMS. Sams Club said they wont install another set of tires on my truck until I get my TPMS fixed. They actually noted that on their records.

Rondo, I have a new project to work on come Tuesday morning. Getting Ford F150 tow hooks to work with a Hunter brush guard.

Thanks. And yes. Unfortunatly, something went wrong with the timing chain last week so it is over at a friends shop getting repaired. I get it back on Tuesday the 12th

Mods will most likely include: 2 1/4" Body lift, Maxxis Bighorn 33's (Maybe?), and just some other minor mods like subs, and what not.

The engine repair was roughly a $1400 set back on all of the mods.

that sure is a random number for a body lift! that may not be enough lift to clear 33"s, but if they fit they'll look awesome. I love the "stuffed" wheel well look on vehicles

are you considering a BTF lift aswell?
