So I am going to attempt to install a 3rd row of seats in my sport. At the same time I am going to do the conversion from cloth to leather. I am going to a junkyard tomorrow and picking up a set of front bucket leather seats, and 2 sets of leather sport 2 seat benches.
To build the 3rd row I am going to staple the new trunk carpeting I bought to a slab of plywood and will also bolt the seats to the plywood. Then the seats will be able to be slid out and the orig carpet will still be under it.
Good, or bad idea? Any other suggestions on how to add a 3rd row in a sport?
