Stay away from Bosch plugs, use either Motorcraft or Autolite plugs. As far as wires any decent set of wires would probably be fine. I would still probably go with Motorcraft wires over Bosch ones though.

Not really any reason in general with the plugs themselves. A lot of people report that Ford engines especially the 4.0L don't like Bosch plugs and run like crap with them, with brand new plugs even.

Thats really sound advice.

Thank you all for the advice ill probably use Motorcraft. So if Bosch dont run that well in ford why do ford racing teams always advertise Bosch just wondering and because of that i assumed Bosch would work especially for a little more performance

I had Bosch Plat+4 plugs, no performance improvement for the money spent.

I had Bosch premium wires, one came apart at the connector after a week.

I just tuned mine up (to fix a slight miss) with bosh wires and autolite plugs.. runs great. (bought these both cheap at autozone)

I just changed my oil and i used a motorcraft filter and casrtol syntec oil and right where the transmission connects to the block there looks like oil is leaking but not enough to makes stains on the ground and the dip stick reads full and i havent noticed any loss of oil for three days since i checkedd everday when i found the problem. Any ideas to what this is?

just curious as to what this has to do with interior, seating and upholstery, probably get more answers if it was in the right spot ;)
