I am happy to say that I have done my first successful Radiator Flush and Coolant Refill. It took awhile, but everything went along just as planned. I used that new Prestone Low-Tox Anti-Freeze for my radiator, have a dog, and I try to make the environment I live in as safe as can be! I also used a Prestone Engine Flush product, worked great, after 5 years a lot of crap builds up in your radiator!

If anybody has changed their engine coolant or done an engine flush in there 1995 Explorer, I would like to hear about it, just interested!

Thanks,

A word of warning:

If you added the "T" to your heater core return line (included in Prestone Engine Flush kit) it will rot off within a couple years. No big deal, just be aware.

Hey CHH777, what is the "T" that is included in Prestone Engine Flush Kit? Is it some kind of chemical, I didn't leave the engine flush kit in my rad. very long, maybe 10-15 minutes. Damn, now, I am worried! Please get back to me explaining this whole problem with "T"!

Thanks.

Hehe... its not a chem... its that plastic "T" shaped piece that you put on your heater lines for flushing out your radiator. You should have had to put it on... but on mine, I took it back off when I was done flushing....
