4.10 vs 4.53 which is beter for 31s

Why dont you think there are explorer's in the junk with 4.10's my truck came stock with 4.10's.

im running 31" ssrs with 3.73's and i still take all the little ricers and stuff its plenty powerful

yeah, some of the first gens came with 4.10s but it seems to me they're kinda rare

That would be me!!! HaHa No problems to speak off. No breakage..knock on wood. The RPM's get a little high when climbing large rocks and difficult stuff but for normal crawling and such I haven't had any trouble.

3.73s are just fine for 31s. My 91 4dr with 3.73 and 31s is quicker off the line than my 96 sport with 235s and a 3.27 ratio.
