Came home from work, parked it for a couple hours, went to go back out and it will not start. Cranks fine, runs on starting fluid so I'm assuming it's a no fuel situation. I don't hear the pump kick on when I turn the key so I checked the fuse and relay, they are fine. I don't know what else to do. I don't have any pressure gauges.

Try resetting the inertial switch on the passenger side front edge of the carpet. Should be a red reset button. Short of that, bang on the gas tank in case it is a stuck brush in the fuel pump. The pins of the relay accross from each other that face opposite directions are the contacts that control the pump. It is powered all the time so you could jumper it with a paper clip for testing.

Thanks for the responce. I checked the inertia switch earlier and I just tried beating on the tank. No luck. So if I pull the relay again and jump the pins, what will that tell me? What I mean is what should I expect when I jumper it?

The biggest problem with diagnosing fuel pump problems is that the pump only turns on for a couple of seconds. Putting a jumper in place of the relay will keep the power on so you can do testing. Something as simple as a test light will work. Jumpeing the relay socket with the test light will confirm you don't have an electrical path from battery to pump. This likely won't light and then you install the wire jumper. First see if you have power at the relay jumper. Then check power at the inertial switch (early versions have only two wires and later ones have three for the dash indicator lamp). At the tank connector, the two opposite larger wires are the pump (PK/BK & BK). If you have power there, it is the pump.

OK, it's the pump. I have the tank down but I can't for the life of me get the fuel lines apart!!!! I have the fuel line disconnect tool but I still can't get them apart!!

finally got it. I broke the first tool trying to get the fuel lines off so I ran to the parts store and they had a different brand, looked the same, but made better. They came right off with it. New fuel pump is in and it's running now. I can't hear the pump run anymore when I turn the key, hopefully it's just alot quieter.
