I removed my passenger side valve cover to inspect the lash adjusters because I've been having the infamous ticking sound on cold start. Is this wear on my cam lobes normal? It seems they all have the same wear

Wish I knew more about OHC designs, but offhand, your wear pattern does not look alarming, just my opinion, you understand. One thing not clear to me is how is "valve clearance", or lash, maintained, as the cam lobes appear to actuate directly on the valve stems. There must be a variable "cushion" involved, similar to hydraulic valve lifter design.

I don't know for sure but I wouldn't think so as it isn't riding on the cam trying to keep contact with it. I'm a old school Windsor family guy myself.
If you went this far and want to keep the truck you should consider replacing the rockers. There is a TSB that if any 3V has any noise or suspected rocker issue, replace all of them. You could probably find it if you search for TSBs. Failure could range from no damage to what is shown in the thread. The roller part gets play and wear and eventually grenades.
