I know this has come up 1000 times, and I've read a bunch of threads. But I am going to post this, just so I have a place to document my journey, ask for help, and take in any and all advice you guys may have on the subject.

Long story short, the 4.6L in my 2005 is shot, and a replacement 4.6L is not only hard to find, but grossly expensive as well. So, I'm going to start shopping for a 5.4L and see where we go.
