4 auto and 4hI, but no 4 low?

I just figured I would give my 4wd a shot since it's nearing the crappy weather time of year around here. I can't seem to get the selector to engage 4 low for sone reason. The knob turns just fine, the truck doesn't seem to try to do anything though.

Is there a common issue that tends to pop up with these in this regard?

Do you have the transmission in neutral when shifting to 4Lo?

Yeah, make sure you are in neutral, stopped, with your foot on the brake.

I did make sure that I was either in park or neutral. I just tried with my foot on the brake, still nothing.

Not park, you must be in Neutral, foot on Brake.
