4 generation double din install

this thread is about which kit is better in my opionion

i purchased a double din kit from best buy, payed way to much and installed my radio. it wasnt a bad radio it was just what i could afford at the time.

I recently bought a pioneer app radio and the old mounting kit the tabs broke. I run to walmart and pick up a scoshce kit.

I honestly like this kit alot better the plastic sides screw into the the radio, you dont use the cage that came with the radio and the fit is so much better. I recommend this kit, it was under 20 bucks and it was so much better fitting and easier to install

Scosche is alright. They're kits work.. they aren't of the best quality but they work.
I've used their wiring harnesses and they're good quality wire and for a decent price.

I prefer Metra install kits however. They just seem to feel better and fit nicer.

Mind you, Scosche has upped their game for more recent vehicle double din kits.
