Has anyone put a 4 link rear end on an explorer for use with coilovers not bags? Triangulated or Parallel?

no one that i know of has done such a thing. it would, however, be the same setup for coilovers as one would run on bags, so in theory whatever answers you get from a bagged guy would apply to your application.

need any help on coilovers let me know. i have ran coilovers on a car before, and have researched running them on the X for quite a while.

Has anyone thought of using adjustable coil overs for the front to drop it more. This would be stiffer but KONI makes adjustable coilover that adjust the ride height. I want to try this because I want to handle better for Autocross. Will the shock mounts hold everything up or would I need to do a torsion flip to help hold the front end up. So let me know if this can be possible if i can get some coilovers for the front made.

To adapt coilovers, you would need to make brackets to safely attach them to the lower control arm and the upper shock tower. The torsion bars would be removed all together. There would still be alignment issues with the adjustment.

that about using a mustang rear end? they have the 8.8 and coils....

Johnny, if you look through some old threads in here you will see that i had your idea planned for a long time. using coilovers and an adjuster flip together would be a bad idea IMO. using coilovers alone would be much better. you will have to cut off old shock mounts and have some made that will support the vehicle weight. also, plan on buying several sets of springs to get the rate you want via trial and error. unless you plan on having a chassis builder fit/build a set of custom control arms on your ride, you can forget anything more than about 2.5" drop and still have any kind of alignment. its just not gonna happen.
