4 wheel drive swtich

today my father in law wanted to see if my 91 explorer 4 wheel drive switch would work in his 93 ford ranger. when he gave it back to me and i went to hook it back up in my explorer he had pull 2 wires for them 4 wheel drive switch harness and i cant get my explorer out of 4 wheel drive. is there anyway i can get my ride out of 4 wheel drive?

with out the switch? take the 4x4 motor off the tcase and manually switch it to 2weel,once the motor is off you can see what its pointing to and it will say on the case.its not that hard to do.

what does it look like and where is it located

its like two or three bolts and as soon as you pull it off you will see its not pointing to 2h just stick a big flat head in it and turn it to 2h.
