Sounds like a winner to me.
Your setup sounds about like the way I would do it, only minus the side action....I know too many goofballs that would end up trying to stab an open door into the concrete. I'm glad to finally meet someone else that prefers the coilover method. You wouldn't believe how many people try to talk smack to me for doing them that way. Sounds like you've got one hell of an X there.
Roll Pan: Have you called Alter Images yet? Better yet, give me a day or two and I can get you the number of the guy that does ALOT of their big fab work. He did a skin/pan combo for a friend of mine and it was perfect, not only that it was about half the cost AI would have charged for it.
I would still like to see some pics, I tried to find the ones on the ranger forum but the search kept comming up empty, and I got tired of looking
I have seen a BD'ed X before. I'll do some hunting to see if I can find you some pics. They are still extreamly few and far between so you have a unique ride there.
One last question. Why did you choose to run #6 lines (I'm assuming the lines as you said the fittings were #6) in the front and #8 lines in the back?
P.S. I'm 6'9" and the roof of my X is below my sholders too....oh wait, I've got a few inces on you, and your X has a few on mine
