Its mostly hidden behind the weatherstripping of the drivers door then goes under the hood from there.

On my old Explorer I had a light mounted in between the rails of my roof rack. I ran the wires into the cab by drilling a hole through the roof inside the mount for the roof rack. I sell Lifetime and Feniex leds so I am debating doing it again on my new Explorer.
