Just finished my Christmas photography gigs and I promised myself I'd put some $$$ in my long neglected 1992 XLT. The transmission just was rebuilt in November so I only have a few dollars left to work on it. I bought a set of Rough Country 1.5 inch leveling springs and a set of Warrior Shackles. 1 1/2 hours of shop time and this is the end result.

31's should fit.

Are these upside down?

Needs alignment.

I'll give the front end a few days to settle before I get it aligned. However a question has come up. Looking at the instructions for the shackles, I didn't read anything about which way was up. I saw that the center brace on the shackles is slightly offset but does it matter which side is up?

When I installed mine, I put them upside down from the picture you posted. I would think at full bind the shackle crossbar might contact the frame otherwise, but could be just camera angle.
