Is this the T case I need to go behind my transmission??

I know its E shift but I can work with/around that.
This is on my local craigslist right now, so I need to act fast.
I plan to make my 96 truck a 2wd/4hi 4 low I want to confirm this is the 4406 I need that will bolt to my trans???

itll work, mine does, just make sure to count the splines because I have heard so are different but the most common is 31 I think and thats what we need. if it fits a expidition it should work.
Have fun with wiring it up. you may or may not have a pug under your seat to lug another missing peice of harness into. I didnt and cant for te life of me figure out where to splice in the wires.
