4406 swap - to do or not to do?

I've read up on the 4406 swap and very much like the idea. I don't off road with mine, it's just my daily driver. I've got the AWD for the Nebraska winters when we get enough snow that driving gets interesting.

Is the swap still worth doing? Trying for some unbiased opinions here

Probably not worth it for you if you don't need the low ratio, and the awd is better for snow than part time 4x4 anyway.

Getting caught in some ice with just 2wd engaged is a giant step back in technology and safety.

If there's nothing wrong with your AWD case and you don't offroad, I'd leave it alone.

At the moment, there's nothing wrong with my AWD system that I'm aware of.

I still have the interest in doing it, but I can't justify the money since I don't *need* it. I'm planning exhaust and would like to get different wheels. I'll hold off until something with my AWD fails.
