I would suggest going into the valve body, and using a torque wrench on the valve body bolts. BTW, when you adjusted the bands, did you use a torque wrench or just adjust it by feel when it started to get snug?

I did it by feel. Of course. :D lol Ive tried several different adjustments on the bands with the same results.

I would suggest that you get a 1/4" drive torque wrench from Harbor Freight. Go back, rebuild the VB, adjust the linkage, shift indicator, TRS, VB bolts, replace the servos, clean the contacts of the electrical connectors, and check the internal wiring harness along with the solenoids.

Well, I talked to my tranny man and he said not to do anything to the tranny, "just go to bed dont worry about it and when you get up in the morning it will shift like its brand new".

Well...he was right!!!!! It shifts like its brand new???? I dont understand why... maybe it had air in the valve body I dont know but It runs like its new. hey wait a minute it is a new tranny LOL.

I put the tranny in Saturday. Test drove it on Saturday, Saturday is when I was having these drive problems. Sunday morning I drove the truck and all of the problems were gone.
