4r443 VB rebuild

i just installed my rebuilt VB and new D rings on the reverse servo piston and torqued everything to specs (90 in/lb) and installed new oil pan and torqued it to specs (100 inc/lbs) and heres the issue......when i shift into reverse it goes forward...my reverse lights turn on and everything but it shifts forward....and my gear indicator seems to be out of sync...i was able to start the truck on park and nuetral....do i need to take out everything again and retorque??

Sounds like you have a problem with alignment of the manual control lever on valvebody. Everybody seems to forget this lever.
 






And in the process of draining the fluid out again...good thing I Installed a drain valve....how would I go by adjusting that lever??
 






The lever lines up with a certain slot/pin. You probably missed the slot. In one of the trans threads somebody posted up a picture of it but i cant find it right now.
