My 95 Explorer has a trans problem...who would figure that right?? When it down shifts from 3rd to 2nd, the RPM's rise 200-300 rpm before it goes into 2nd gear. I guess it hesitates going into gear. One of the local transmission shops told me that the 2nd gear band clutch could be adjusted and we might be able to adjust that out. I have never heard of an automatic being adjustable. What do you think..is this possible?
