I have a 95 Explorer with the 4r44e trans. When the transmission down shifts from 3rd to 2nd, the RPMS jump for just a second before it actually hits 2nd gear. I guess 2nd is not engaging right away. Is this a selenoid problem or is it just showing wear? It has about 115k on it.
